I can tell you for a fact that Maryland one is nothing more than a fanciful, goofball wording of very normal laws (for example it has always been illegal to own a lion in the first place without a permit to own a feral cat, and they cannot be brought to public places without meeting certain regulations.)

So I’m looking to buy an Air Rifle, around £50 – £80, obviously without a scope as I wouldn’t be able to buy it within that price range. Can someone tell me the most powerfullest Air Rifle I can get for this money, and without any FireArms Certificate. Basically just within the legal limit of what’s allowed without a license.

I think it’ll be hard getting one for that price mate, the max power you can have is 12ft ibs i think, higher than that its illegal in air rifles and you would need a license for something higher than that.
But that is powerful enough, with my old rifle i could take down most things, although my favorite was my smith and wesson pistol with a massive barrel (that only cost me £80) it was c02, so it ran out of shots pretty quick but it was powerful for a pistol.
The trick is, pu the c02 bottles in warm water first (not boiling!) so they build up alot of pressure. When you fire them its like a real gun lol!!! Makes a mega loud sound too.
BTW a 12ft ibs rifle can go through double glazing windows…dont do it though because you’ll have the police at your door.
