Perfect domain for hunring and fishing website?

I am looking to start an online community of outdoorsman sharing their expeirence with hunting outfitters they have used in the past. I would like to have online forums. I am looking for a catchy name that is related to who we are. I would like a name that is seo friendly.

The name itself doesn’t matter much to search engines, what matters is the content and how many people make meaningful links to your website (like from other outdoor-related sites). That’s a reason so many websites have “links” pages. On your home page have a short introductory paragraph which contains the key terms like “Hunting Outfitters” and “discussion forums” and so on, and on sub pages make it clear what they’re about, too.

(Years ago I worked on a real estate agent’s website. It originally used the terms “property professional” and “investment properties” and wasn’t getting many hits. I changed the first to “Real Estate Agent” and added “Commercial Real Estate” and his ranking (and hits) improved considerably — simply because that was what people were searching for.)

For a domain name you want one that’s easy to remember and clear enough to be easily typed without typos. Just from your name here, you might look at SpencerHunting.com or something like that. You don’t need anything gimmicky — Craigslist has done fine without it, as have many other sites.
