Rifle Scopes On Ebay

I need info on an old rifle scope. please help!?
I have an old scope inherited to me by my deceased father. it is 18 1/4 inches long. It does not flare out it is straight. It has two adjust nobs and removable ends/lens? It has two markings near sights. Reads (8-x)and above that reads (200yds & over) It is pretty old, possibly off an enfield m1 or a gun of that age… i looked at pics online and found a similar one called a USMC UNERTL 8X SCOPE 1903 SPRINGFIELD A1. link here.

Please help me locate info and possibly a price range if sold. Thank you all. 
You hit the jackpot with that Unertl. A very nice scope indeed. I had one on a .22 target rifle once and sold it (like a fool). The rifle, a Remington was worth maybe $200. The scope, 12X, raised the selling price to $950.
Do you have the wooden carry case that goes with it?
